Kaluwa Ruit  White Belt Teacher Kaluwa has been dancing since she was 4 years old, and has explored many different styles of dance, and continues the passion through teaching now. While in college Kaluwa majored in Human Biology as a result of her interest and curiosity of the fascinating workings of the human body. She also trained in Karate, Body Conditioning, Kickline and of course the Dance Company assisting her to learn a variety of types of movement forms. Upon leaving college Kaluwa entered the field of human services working with people with a variety of mental and physical disabilities where she has worked for a decade assisting and counseling them to reach wellness and independence. She participated in a Trainer program for Physical and Nutritional Management to benefit her clients, and has delighted on many success stories. Now she has combined her talents of working with the mind and the body as a licensed Nia Teacher. Her belief in the importance of the mind-body connection fuels her enthusiasm to help others find joy, and results in classes that are personal and fun. | Christine Stineman  White Belt Teacher Born and raised in Connecticut, Christine's love of dance began at a young age with instruction in tap, ballet, and jazz. She continued her enjoyment of dancing into her adulthood in more informal settings. After moving out west, she discovered Nia in early 2003 and was immediately hooked. In 2006, she brought her love of Nia from Denver to St. Petersburg. At the time, the closest Nia class was in Sarasota. Teaching her own class was the next natural progression as a way to continue her practice and share her enthusiasm for Nia with others. She is also a licensed massage therapist and has her own private practice. Christine lives in St. Petersburg with her husband Matt and their two dogs, K.C. and Barrett.
